Carolynn Martin

Carolynn grew up and was educated in Sussex, going on to study for a BSc in Applied Biology at Kingston University where she graduated in 1998.  After a brief time working in the Quality Department at Glaxo-SmithKline she started as a trainee Biomedical Scientist in the microbiology department at Worthing Hospital.  She qualified as a Specialist Biomedical Scientist (BMS) in 2001 and went on to attain an MSc in Biomedical Science (Microbiology) in 2004, alongside working in the laboratory.

Carolynn was promoted to Senior Specialist BMS after being accepted in as a Fellow of the Institute of Biomedical Science in 2005, and continued to work in this role until 2012.

Carolynn joined the team in 2012 as Laboratory Manager where she heads the team of staff processing samples for routine haematology, biochemistry and microbiology in support of the veterinarian staff.

Carolynn is married to Paul and has 2 sons, William and Andrew.
