Jill had worked with horses for a number of years before joining the practice in 2001. She studied equine management at Plumpton Agricultural College and then went on to work in competition yards gaining experience in the equine industry.
Jill became Head Nurse in 2004, realising this was the career she loved; she then qualified as an Equine Nurse in 2007. She is responsible for the team of veterinary nurses at the hospital, and her special interests include intensive care nursing, lameness investigation in the equine athlete, radiography and the smooth running of a busy clinic.
In her spare time Jill loves to keep fit by riding and visiting the gym as much as she can. She also enjoys walking her much loved dog Merry.
