Maria Rosa

Maria graduated from the Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro (Portugal) in 2017. After completing two internships in equine hospitals in Ireland and England, she worked as an equine ambulatory vet in The Curragh (Ireland). Now she has returned to the Sussex Equine Hospital team to undertake an ambulatory role and is currently studying towards a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice with the University of Liverpool.

Maria enjoys all aspects of internal medicine and intensive care, with a particular interest in neonatology, cardiology and other medicine-related athletic performance issues.

When not around horses, Maria enjoys playing music, hiking and cooking.
