Matt graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 1991 before joining a large mixed practice in Hampshire.  He took time out to travel the world, stopping briefly to work in New Zealand before returning to the UK as an intern in an equine referral practice in Lambourn.  

In 1995 he joined the ambulatory team of the Arundel Equine Hospital and was awarded his Royal College of Veterinary Surgeon’s Certificate in Equine Internal medicine in 1997.  In 1998 he went to South Africa to work in a racehorse practice in Johannesburg.  Returning to Arundel in 2000, he gained his RCVS Certificate in Anaesthesia in 2003 and became a partner in the practice in 2005.  Matt has an interest in all aspects of horse care.

Outside of work, endurance sports such as triathlon, road and mountain biking keep him busy whilst his knees last.
