Noelle grew up on a dairy farm in Northern Ireland, where she first developed an interest in the TB breeding industry. She graduated from the University of Liverpool in 1998 and after a solid foundation of 7 years in mixed and large animal practice in South Wales, she moved towards equine practice, and in particular equine reproduction. Since 2005 she has been doing back-to-back stud seasons in the UK and Australia.
She gained her Certificate in Equine Medicine (Stud Medicine) in 2009. She enjoys all aspects of equine practice and stud medicine, but has concentrated on assisted reproductive techniques and reproductive management of stallions most recently. She has dedicated her last 5 years to perfecting her skills in artificial insemination and embryo transfer working with sport horses, quarter horses and polo ponies. Noelle was the resident vet at Twemlows Stud for several seasons, where she was responsible for all the artificial insemination and embryo transfer.
She lives close to Horsham, with her husband, David and young son George. Her interests include riding, triathlons, cycling and walking their terriers.
