He qualified at University of Zaragoza (Spain) in 2014. He then moved to Newbury where he worked as an ambulatory vet for three years, before enrolling in his first internship at the University of Liverpool. He then moved to Kentucky (USA), where he took part in a surgical internship at Hagyard Equine Institute. He then later returned to the UK to work as a racing veterinary surgeon in a referral hospital in Lambourn, where he gained his Certificate in Orthopaedic surgery.

He is currently enrolled in an ECVS LA Surgical Residency, whilst providing cover for the local racetracks.
