Teresa graduated from Escola Universitária Vasco da Gama in her hometown Coimbra (Portugal) in 2017. Immediately after her graduation, she started working in an equine reproduction clinic based in Portugal for 2 years. After that, she completed a rotating internship in Ireland to expand her knowledge and skills. Last year, she was working in the UK at Twemlows Stud Farm. During this breeding season, she was working at a Stud farm in France before she joined Sussex Equine Hospital.

During her free time, Teresa enjoys travelling, spending time with her friends and cooking.
